Well made, nice grain handle. Has good thickness, so if you like to customize, it has plenty of material for sanding. I was happy to find a place to get handles like this ,for my old vintage tools.

I heat a sculpture studio and sometimes the TV room with wood. I have a small axe in the studio I use to split kindling whose handle doesn't have much more time. I also have a nice boy's size axe head that I picked up somewhere. I found Beaver Tail Handles online and thought I would take a chance.

The handles look great. Nothing ornate, but well proportioned and finished. They feel good in the hand and are built sturdy to last a long time. Ready to split that kindling next winter.
