This linesmens broad hatchet handle fit exactly as described. The handle is shipped with a wooden wedge and a steel clincher. It fit this old hand forged hatchet. The hickory had a tearout defect which is why I rated only 4 stars. It is shipped unfinished, but some linseed oil finished it off.
