Came quickly, nice grain really stands out with boiled linseed finish.

Select grade, of good quality, shoulder transitions smoothly, kerf is cut well. Will have no issue bringing the head right down to the shoulder and hanging it proper. No wood past the swell on mine, only minor gripe. Will thin it out with a spokeshave but it doesn't need much. Restoring a 3 1/2 lb head for it.

This is a nice handle with good grain. I mounted it on an old Jersey Head. It has good beef to it so I slimmed it down and made the palm more pronounced so it fits my hands better. I intend on using it to bang wedges. I split a bunch of wood just to try it out, no issues. All in all a very solid handle.

Bought this handle for an antique Genuine Norland axe head. The handle was the nicest piece of Hickory I've ever seen. Perfectly milled and prepared. Beaver was the only place I could find this size and style and they really came through in the quality department. Nicely done.
