This handle is extremely well made. The wood grain is straight and oriented correctly.
I don't think you will find any better quality.

I have a lot of old inherited tools. I restored a five tined pitchfork and a four tined digging fork. New digging forks usually have a D handle on them. I like the long handle so I can use it like a shovel. These worked just fine. Looks like they will last a long time. I've restored some hammers and another fork that are a lot older than me. Beaver-tooth makes handles I am happy to put on these heirlooms. From farmers and construction guys in the 40s and 50s. Most of the tools are in good shape but I've used some of them harder than I should have.

Great product. Took awhile to receive the four pitchfork handles . . . almost forgot I ordered them. Just one season at a time.
