I have used a standard log lifter for years for handling firewood spools from the woods to a trailer and into my splitter. However, some are too large for the commercial two man lifter. I could not find a larger commercial lifter, so I purchased a larger set of bare tongues with plans to assemble a custom two man lifter. Finding a suitable handle was a problem. Rather than buying another complete lifter and cannibalizing the handle, this was the perfect solution. Well made, like a work of art. And the price & shipping was very reasonable. Shipping was fast and trackable all the way to my door. Could not ask for more.

Just the fit Thank you. Very good quality handle good straight grain!

One of my log carriers had a badly weathered handled. It was a safety concern for our trails association. This will alleviate concerns. It's a red/white hickory blend which doesn't concern me. The key is that the grain is continuous through the handle.
