excellent handle; beautiful in its initial appearance out of the box, with excellent grain and shape; feels very good in the hand and stands up to a beating (many consecutive hours of splitting large, knotty doug fir rounds in the rain and hail, including the occasional overstrike, with virtually no detectable damage). I'm pleased and impressed. Beaver Tooth lives up to it's reputation in my experience, so far!

Very high quality hickory handle, needs minimal file to fit my Pulaski axe.
