This was the second 24” handle and they have both been excellent quality. I bought the grade #2 handle this time, the quality was the same as the #1 grade handle, just without the coat of varnish. This was fine, because everything gets a coat of linseed oil for protection. I sawed about 4” off the handle due to it being on a 3 lb. hammer.

Needed a shorter handle for a hand sledge I use around property.
I wanted high quality and made in USA, and this fit the bill on both counts.
Arrived when it was supposed to, was true to specs, and works great.
I'd absolutely recommend them.

Quality is a step above handles at my local hardware store and still have good value. These will be the only handles I will buy as long as I gave time to wait for shipping.
