24" Single Bit Axe Handle Full Size Eye American Hickory

I love my axe handle! I had found this broad axe head in an old workshop at a cabin where we were staying. I asked if I could purchase it and paid $10 for it. At the time, I thought that the axe was damaged (as it appeared to be bent, looking from the top). However since the bevels on each side were obviously different, I knew that had to be intentional. After doing a bit of research, I discovered it was a broad axe. I wanted a shorter handle for it, than I use on my double edged axe. I found this beautiful Beaver-Tooth handle and decided to give it a try. I have since used it for a wide variety of things, such as cutting limbs off cedars after felling them and cutting roots. This has a very good feel.

I am very pleased with the Beaver_Tooth handle. Here is the final results with the hand forged are head I found buried in a river back in Wisconsin.

This handle was a great replacement for my 2 1/2 pound Hults Burke. I got the select grade. Grain orientation is perfect and razer strait. Fitment was almost perfect for this head required almost no material removal. The handle also took finish beautifully. Great fit in the hand and feels very comfortable for an axe this size. Cant say enough good about the quality of this handle.

I was looking for a shorter handle with a full size eye and this was it! Beautiful handle and shipping was right on time!

I had two heavier heads (Collins & Hults Bruk) on 16 inch house axe handles and never used them. So I decided to replace the handles with 24 inch Beaver Tooth handles. And now these two axes will be my go-to axes for splitting firewood. I’ve already split firewood with them and they are great!

The wood grain was straight, the eye was sized and split well, and it darkened up nicely with linseed oil.No complaints, I would purchase again.

I’ve used maybe 10 different styles and sizes from Beaver Tooth and found them to be superior to the competition.
I hand fit everything so I expect to do a little work, these are just plain great. Good shipping and communication.

The axe handle arrived two days before expected and appears to be a very nice piece of wood. I have it mounted to my 1950s cheek face Plumb axehead. The short handle's full-size head fit is just right. It stows neatly in my pack.

I got one of the blems and put it on an old Collins Homestead. The handle feels great, and its the perfect length to tote around in the backcountry as part of a saw kit.

The ones I've received have had excellent grain orientation and had a great symmetrical design for this length handle.
The best part is that they could be "filed down" readily to fit an axe head, I haven't learned the method to "file them up".

This was the nicest handle I have ever bought. I normally order from another maker but I wanted to try one of yours. I can't believe I have waited this long to try one. I will be getting all of my handles from you from now on. Thanks again for such a great product that you put out!

Measurements were very accurate, so a great fit for my eye. Surprised by quality of grain as this was 'better' rather than 'select'. Great value.

I purchase 2 24” axe handles. One was premium quality the other was a B quality handle. Both were straight and the price was good. I will buy from Beaver-Tooth again!

I am quite pleased with this axe handle. Straight grain and no run out. Being a bit of a novice when it comes to nomenclature, I did have a question about what "full size eye" meant, as most other descriptions had inch measurements.

had a hard time finding a handle to fit the eye of my axe, then stumbled across Beaver Tooth, according to the specs it should work, boy oh boy, fit like a glove and looks fantastic, a little more money than i was expecting to spend, but the quality of this handle, the fit and finish is outstanding, definitely not the last handle I'll buy from them, great work

I got two 24'' full sized eye handles for wedge bangin..great grain orientation,for the price its a NO brainer

Got 2 handles both good grain. Use best 1 for limbing the other for splitting kindling. The handles fit easily and have stayed tight.
