I have a ballpein hammer passed down from my Pa, its well used and loved by me kinda feels like he's there working with me. The handle was black with oil and grease and cracked so I looked for a replacement. I found one on Amazon that would have worked just a standard varnish covered handle, then I came upon the Beaver Tooth handle co and thought why not try them out and I'm glad I did. The handle needed no fitting it was tight but the hammer head was persuaded on just tapping the handle base on my anvil until it was where I wanted it. The handle is a work of art soft raw wood to oil or finish as I like, Great wood grain built strong should last me another 40 years. Thanks y"all

I was very happy with the fact that the handles are made in the USA. Great price and the best ever handles made. I really highly recommend the Beaver-tool handle company. I had some older body hammer s with no handles and tried to match up the eye as bet that I could do. These handles work great for one and was a close fit for the other. great handle, good fit with very little rasping
This is exactly the handle I needed. Matched the broken one I took out with the oval shape. Using a rasp to clear away excess material, inserted the wooden handle and pounded in the lead wedge. This was my go to hammer back in the early 70's when I was in the glass business. Thanks!
Good quality, fit well
I found Beaver Tooth online...quality was good, and they fit as I'd expect with some minor shaving. Definitely a good value and I'd buy from them again.

These are quality handles, not the stuff from China hanging on the display racks at Ace or True Value. I ordered three; two for Craftsman ball pien hammer heads I had here and one for an old Klein carpenter's claw hammer I've owned for half my life. (Yes, I spelled 'pien' correctly.)
The waxed hickory handles needed minimum shaping to install, I did all three with a convex rasp in about ten minutes. Driving in the wood and metal wedges was uneventful. I mounted the Klein about 1/8 inch proud and the ball piens flush.
I'll never buy anywhere else.
I can't say enough. If you are looking for a quality handle Beaver-Tooth is where to get it. Every thing about this and any other handle I've gotten from them have been perfect.

Handle was to revitalize a small vintage Cheney ball peen hammer to working condition. Small handles are hard to find, but this worked great. Easy installation. With this handle, another high quality tool has been repaired to working condition. Would definitely buy again from this business.
