28" Miners / Straight / Single Bit Axe Handle American Hickory

I love it. Even made a YouTube video about it. This handle is perfect for banging wedges. It allows you to swing at them one handed, its the perfect length. I have other axes that are just too heavy and too long to bang wedges with but this one I bought specifically for this task. Looks great being a straight handle, it's exactly what I was looking for.

I mean, I even use it for splitting firewood. I'm pretty tall, lanky arms, so swinging a 36 inch handle only leads to me bashing the handle due to me underestimating my reach.I don't make mistakes with this one.

Man dude they must have used some very nice trees to make these bad boys cars and cameras because this handle is just phenomenal. The hickory is hard. The full sized eye is well because it allows me to swing my axe with confidence, physically and mentally. The straight handle looks like it was crafted by jsus himself because it goes great with a Yamaha on your head.

Great grains and straight handle would buy again..

I'm 5'8" tall and the length is perfect fit for me for felling and chopping. Excellent fit and finnish as well.

The Select Grade handle I received is very nice. The grain orientation is correct, the wood is flawless with no heart wood, very dense and sanded smooth. Communication was great, packaging was excellent. I would confidently buy this grade of handle from Beaver-Tooth again.

I am well pleased with this ax handle. Grain orientation is good, wood quality is excellent, shape and size are excellent. Handle required minimal sanding on my part and has a uniform surface. Took minimal sanding to fit axe head to handle. The wood burnished and finished nicely. I can't wait to get out in the sticks and bang some wedges! Will be ordering again. Thank you!

I re handle many tools: axes, mauls, sledge hammers, hatchets, and anything else that shows up here. Had a single bit ax that I wanted to restore and give as a Christmas gift. Ordered a Miners straight handle for a single bit. and got it right away. The handle was absolutely perfect, I have never seen a handle that did not have some kind of issue, wood is wood and I surely understand that. The handle did not have a single flaw, I finished the ax on Christmas eve, the new owner kept looking at the handle and I didn't say anything. He just looked at me and asked where I got that handle. I really liked this handle. Perfect fit for the eye. Great length. I didn't personally like the lacquer finish, but it sands off easy enough. I can't say enough good things about these handles.

Well made high quality axe handle. First rate, all the way. The head is a bit small for the head upon which I intended to use it; however I have another head which is a perfect fit.

This handle was flawless. Much better than anything I could find locally. It shipped exactly when they said it would and it was completely worth the wait. I have already placed another order to hang another head that has been sitting in my shop for years.
