Axe Puck Sharpening Stone Axe Box 220 Grit Made in USA

Works better than I was hoping for. Used it to sharpen up a dozen axe edges in no time. Planning on using this stone from now on as my primary maintenance sharpening tool.

I had to try this stone out as soon as I opened it. I cleaned up the edge on my axe and a garden shovel. Very satisfied.

A great stone. I like how this is purpose built for moving the stone with the axe or other blade held still. The round shape and finger groove make it convenient and safe. I've only used it once but should perform great for a long time. With a sharp file, this stone, and a strop you're good to go. Thanks!

I have files, large flat stones, and a belt sander for sharpening axes, hatchets, machetes, hoes, and other edged tools, but they are bulky by nature. This little stone is easy to tote and use. Gets a good edge quickly.

This thing works well, the only suggestion I would make would be to offer a larger one for those of us with bigger hands. But as far as function and quality, its great.

I've been looking for a nice sharpening puck for a while, this one fills the bill nicely. I have been very satisfied with all the Beaver Tooth products I've purchased (sheaths, handles, and now this puck).

this round sharpening stone works very well, I've already put a sharp edge on some hand and garden tools, would definitely buy again.

Puck made my sharpening a breeze on my Collins axe. Definitely reccomend.

I soaked it in water and used this as a wet stone and it worked very well and put a nice edge on a hatchet in very short time.

First time I've used a stone like this. Always used a rectangular stone in the past that rested on bench top, really like holding stone in my hand. This stone is much easier to use and does a great job.

Never used a puck before, love it. I first used it to sharpen my draw knife worked great. Easy and safe desighn.

What can I say it's a sharpening stone it dose what sharpening stones do they sharpen, what makes this one unique is the way it fits in your hand. I feel more confident using this stone than the lansky puck.

Both items arrived on time as promised. Very impressed with the guard well make item that is hard to find. Puck also works well. Used a flat file for initial edge, finished with the puck, it produced a very nice edge. I am pleased.

Would be nice if it were dual grit

It was dual grit, say 180 - 220 on one side and 320 on the other. I wish the manufacturer would consider that. But as it is, 220 is a good middle of the road grit and you can polish up the edge with a finer grit when you get home. The finger groove really improves safety and handling.
