I have purchased many axe handles over the years. Some are good some not so much. However this select handle is by far the highest quality handle I have ever purchased! Grain orientation Perfect, centered perfectly on both sides, I don’t think you could get the edges any closer to being aligned with the handle. Here’s what it looks like, and I’m not yet finished. Great handle, thinned out to a great size for using. This handle was almost exactly the same as an antique 24” cruiser that I have. Great to be able to purchase a handle made that well.
This is one of the few places I could find a handle for my cruiser axe restoration. Fit was great. Grain was straight and I believe it finished up nicely with a few coats of boiled linseed oil. I also got some replacement tomohawk handles that i’m very pleased with. I will be buying again here in the future.
Handle was nice and slim, and ready to fit the eye of my cruiser with very little adjustment. Best handle I have ever bought.
