36" Double Bit Axe Handle American Hickory
Superior quality American Hickory with a smooth wax finish(not clumpy & sticky). These are some of the finest handles you will ever use. Go ahead and get a few, we think you will love them. We do! These handles fit full size(several weights generally from 3 to 5 lbs.) Double bit axes with elliptical shaped eye. 36" long with 2-15/8" x 5/8" eye. Each handle comes with one wood & metal wedge for a secure attachment to your axe head. This handle and all our fine handles are grown and made in the USA. Help keep American Strong and buy American! 36" long handle in the straight double bit pattern. Some other grades and finishes are in the drop down box at the top. Some #2 will have larger eye.

Bought a 36” handle for a double bit Collins. Very little work to get a tight fit. This was the 3rd handle I’ve purchased from Beaver Tooth. I’ve tried a couple other handle companies, but felt their quality was inferior. I’ll keep buying Beaver Tooth brand.
Good quality wood, had to do minimum filing for a double bit plumb axe head
I bought a 36" and a 24" double bit handle. Both fit tight and have already been chopping wood. Straight and smooth finish. 5 stars
I have bought a couple of handles from Beaver Tooth - all great quality. Good grain orientation. Well worth it.
Excellent grain orientation. A bit thick, but easy to file down to preferred thickness. Very happy with this handle.
