#2 grade is better than House Handle hand select

Beavers #2 grade Miners straight axe handles are well made. The ones I received had some cracks in them which will not affect the use I have for them. At the same time I ordered from Beaver I also placed an order from House Handle. The select trash that I paid a premium for from House Handle was worse than Beavers #2 grade. House must have a select trash pile to choose from. The other Axe handles I received from Beaver were well made, they will be used for first line tools handle replacement. I would purchase from Beaver again. I consider the $56 I paid to House Handle a waste of money.

Great purchase!

Bought this handle on sale as a #2 grade. Has some small flaws but absolutely nothing that will effect fit and function. Was quite surprised being a #2 grade handle that is had nice tight grain. These are a steal at the sale price!
