40" BRUSH HOOK CUTTER, KIZER, DITCH BANK HICKORY HANDLE

Well made, quality hickory handle. I had to enlarge a hole to fit the holes on the blade, probably to be expected. I will return for future handle needs on this bushaxe or other tools.

ordered a 3 hole pattern with no holes and the grain pattern is excellent. the kerf was a bit narrow to accommodate the blade by about .015 which was just narrow enough to not let the blade not sit fully down in the cut. a tough fit but still a great handle

Very nice handle only wish that it came with the option to drill your holes since the original handle on my grandfather’s was very old and the holes didn’t line up. Had to drill through the steel plates and cutter since I didn’t want to drill 4 new holes in the wood .then I just welded the old holes closed. The things you do to save family heirlooms.

Bought a four hole brush axe handle. Solid product. Minor adjustment had to be made for holes to match my old blade but no problem. Delivered as promised

Your new Brush Axe handles have restored my 20+ year old brush axes with better than original and could not be happier with these handles. I would think these will last the rest of my days and beyond. First time purchase and could not recommend these handles enough they have great grain grain nice shape in the hand and finish appear to be much sturdier than any I have seen before. Heirloom tools as soon as I hung these blades on them.

Took a chance on replacing the four hole ditch bank handle that belonged to my grandfather. Replacement handle holes lined up perfectly with blade and steel caps with minimal trimming. Amazing-that old cutter has to be 60-70 years on.

I don,t think this 73 yr. old will break any of these handles,, like the import trash.

I had been restoring my grandfather's brush axe and needed a handle for it and beaver tooth delivered. Grain orientation was perfect and the bolt holes lined up perfect with my iteration. Couldn't have been happier with the purchase. I have bought many handles from bthc and they have all been nice hickory and I like the branding they are doing now.

I put it together today, very satisfied. Bolt pattern was perfect; a little shaving to fit the clamp plates, and the slit was about .060 too big, but making a shim was easy enough. So happy to have my 35 year old axe swinging again! Beaver-tooth rules!

I was given this tool about 30 years ago. The handle was cracked then and I have been looking off and on for a new handle for the last 20 years. I'm so glad I found you. The handle worked perfect, no drilling or filling required. The only issue I had was getting the sticky label off the handle.

The handle was made of excellent material (wood for you lay people) and was finished in expert style. I needed to re-drill one of the pre-drilled attachment holes which was no problem. It was certainly better than starting from scratch.

Handles are quality, but the pre-drilled holes did not line up. Had to re-drill the holes in order for me to use the handles. Also, the slits were not cut deep enough, so I had to cut them back as well. If I order from you again, I will ask that you do not drill the holes to insure they line up properly.

I was surprised at the finish the handle had on it. Very nice job.The price I was charged was reasonable and I would highly recommend to anyone shopping for handles for a tool. The brush hook blade fit like a glove! No adjustment needed.
