Perfect fit
This was my second purchase from Beaver Tooth. Like the first, the quality is excellent and the delivery fast. There may be cheaper handles out there, but I don't care. This is my go-to outfit for wooden tool handles. ++++
This is a fantastic replacement to a very old axe handle. It was one of the few I could find with similar dimensions to the original, which maintains a fantastic balance and feel. It fit well, and hung easily.

Excellent handle. Replaced an old handle that just was having a hard time holding on to the head. Had to do a little carving on the tongue, but I expected that. Dimensions were exactly as stated. It was nice that all the necessary wedges were included. Took a while to get here, but it was worth the wait. I expect to get many more years of use from this trusty little axe.
Let me start by saying I've been very satisfied with all of the beaver tooth handles I've purchased so far. I typically buy 24,28,36 inch handles and was the first scout handle I've purchased. I was a little disappointed in the lack of palm swell. The handle has the same width all the way down. I would have preferred if the palm swell flaired out a little more on the sides like on the larger axe handles. Maybe this is just how scout handles are supposed to be. Good thing is that there is enough thickness in the handle for me to thin out and make my own palm swell. Very good quality handle overall.
It is a good basic handle at a base price so don't expect a Porsche out of the box.

Worked great. All the right dimensions. Seems sturdy. Helped me cut a few pieces of dry standing wood for the campfire.
