I got this for my 11” hewing axe head.
They make it so you can hang it right or left handed and it didn’t take much to shape it in the right direction. It’s a well made, beautiful handle.

Very good handle. Solid and beautiful grain,too. The handle was placed into a broad axe as a gift to my daughter for display. The broad axe was her Grandfather’s who was a young man during the depression era as a farmer and barn builder.

I bought two of the Offset Hewing Axe handles . Making a Left and Right set of these 9 Lb Hewing axes. The Beavertooth Handles are well made and high quality . I will be back for more when needed …J
It took a little time to find some people who could supply me with a handle with the offset needed for broad axes but it was totally worth the effort and wait! It's a beautiful piece that I can't wait to figure out how to replace it, I will be buying another one for my other broad axe once they are back in stock for sure!

Bought this handle for a broad axe restoration project. The grain on the handle was oriented well. I do wish they didn't put clear coat on the handle but after scraping it off and sanding and properly finishing the handle it took linseed oil beautifully. They eye of the handle was oversized which I prefer so I can make it to fit the axe head perfectly. Shipping was fast, would buy again
