28" Double Bit Cruiser Axe Handle. American Hickory

I purchased the 28 inch handle for a little Doublebit cruiser, the handle was beautiful when I got it the green orientation was very good. Beautifully sanded, I loved the feel of it and almost hated to put linseed oil on it, but I did and it is awesome! I will definitely be back to buy more handles! Very happy with the quality! Thanks

Handle is beautiful, disappointed in the kerf cut!!! Expected that it would at least be in alignment with the kerf.

Handle quality second to none

What a great handle. Grain was near perfect. Finish was near done. Fit was so close...saved me lots of time.
Just can't get a better handle at this price anywhere. I have looked around. Prefer to salvage original handle when possible. But that was not happening with this TRUE TEMPER by KELLY WORKS, PAUL BUNYAN cruiser. Not this time anyway. I love the way this handle finished out. I used Old English furniture polish for dark wood to get the grain to pop. Then my standard Boiled Hemp Oil treatment. I made my own Oak wedge.

A beautiful handle, with plenty of material to thin the shoulder and or accentuate the swell.
The grain alignment is good at 22° or less.

A great haft that I am looking forward to hanging my Plumb Cruiser Head on.

that's a fine axe handle right there

I just had to fit it to the eye and the rest was perfect as it was, just like the original vintage handle!

Great quality handle with really good grain. I decided to sand it down a little thinner for personal preference but was great as is. Minor adjustments to ensure a good fit in the axe, but overall its just what I wanted.

A bit thick but it’s easy enough to remove extra wood to reduce to preferred size. Excellent grain orientation. Very happy with this.

Purchased a solid hickory wood handle for my second (found rusting away in a flower bed) maul head. Looks great, grain is on a diagonal so I'll take care not to bash where it might blowout at the shoulder. The last hickory handle I bought from Beaver Tooth has vertical grain and is holding up really nicely as I'm splitting 22" oak rounds. Hoping the same goes for this second maul.

It took about 3 weeks but it was received exactly what was ordered. I have it hung on my Norlund Trailblazer and I'm ready to put it to use.

Yeah I had a wonderful time with this handle, though I only wish the eye was a bit wider. That's all, everything else is perfect

It took a while to get my hand in, but the handle itself was great. It fit my cruiser head perfectly. Came in sanded, but not oiled or stained so you can finish as you like.

Takes some time to get, but a quality shaped handle. Much lighter size than others and matches the handle removed.
Will look here for other handles in the future.

I have not hung a head on it yet, but impressed with the wood quality and finish sanding. Looks much better than average hardware store wood, also totally straight, and nice grain.

Kinda second hand since I actually haven’t seen it, but my brother who is the one actually using it is very happy with it. He said it fit with no issues and was “pretty neat looking”

I ordered two cruiser handles for some projects I’ve been working on and after lots of shopping around I found beaver tooth and the prices they offer I could not pass up. Shipping was very quick and the handles were great. If I come across another axe project I’ll for sure be ordering again.

I’ve bought several of Beaver-Tooth’s handles and everyone is an excellent quality handle. The 28inch cruiser handle is a unique length with a very small eye so it takes minimal work to fit into your cruiser heads.

very happy with the 3 handles I purchased from Beavertooth. All very nice with good grain. Also purchased hardwood wedges and steel wedges.

Have only purchased the mid grade and I’m very satisfied with the fit and finish.

Kurf cut splintered the head but was still able to use it. Not the best I have received from Beaver Tooth
