Cruiser Axe Sheath 2.5 lb. Double Bit Leather With D- Ring

My dads axe. I’m 61 and started using it when I was about 11. You can do the math. I kept it stored in the garage with my yard tools only use it occasionally. It had a cracked handle and a really awful edge. I decided it was time to do some restoration work. I ordered a handle and a sheath from Beaver-Tooth. With a little work it’s as good as new. I’m very happy with the results. Beaver-Tooth products are high quality and are sold at a fair price.

Sheath shipping took a little longer than I had antiipated, but product was worth the wait. Sheath was as advertized, good quality, and a fair price. What else can you ask for? I would buy again.

This mask is awesome. It took me a couple of hours rubbing oil into it and manually burnishing the edges and it turned out amazing I think! Super tight fit, nice heavy thick leather. The oil left the mask incredibly supple and soft. I'm certain this beautiful mask will last a lifetime. I really appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went it to making this specifically for me. I will 100% recommend Beaver-Tooth to anyone looking for a high quality product at a very reasonable price.

I'm including pics of both of my demolition finds. A double bit axe with the new sheath and my prize Cruiser Double Bit with a new Beaver-tooth handle and a new sheath too. I only wish I had discovered your products before I bought the full size handle. The cruiser is an old "Plumb" double bit. Thank you

Just as their website said, the sheath arrived just over 30 days from when it was ordered. It fits my Norland double bit cruiser perfectly but very snugly both top to bottom and across the bits. The leather is thick, the workmanship is excellent. The leather is very stiff but should break in nicely once it has been oiled or dressed a few times. Both snaps are set perfectly and tightly...they snap and unsnap solidly. I have no worries about carrying the axe now whether in the truck, my pack or strapped to a pack frame - This is truly a professional quality bit of kit that I will pass along to the next generation with pride. This was one of the few sites with detailed sizes for both sheaths and handle sizes. I found a vintage made in Sweden Hults-Bruk 2.5lb cruiser next to a fire pit with a difficult-to- match eye size. Good quality leather and handle resulting in a good balance and feel. Shipping info was bang on, worth the wait even with snail-mail. :-)

These are pretty nice, simple axe sheaths, well made and likely to last a long time. The leather is extremely dry but responds pretty well to vegetable oil. They do a great job of protecting the bits and that is their purpose.

Well built. Good fit and finish. Recommend users wet the outside of the leather, similar to prep for stamping or boning. Wetting helps it mold around the axe head.

Fits tight and perfect

I ordered 2 sheaves for Christmas presents only 1 was in the package. I notified Beaver Tooth, problem fixed immediately. I dyed them black and oiled them burnished the edges they turned out very nice. Great product. They are a little tight at first for a Barco cruiser, but loosen up nicely after oiling them. Thanks Beaver Tooth.

This is a fine axe sheath that should give years of service. I failed to ensure my axe head was of the proper size for the product; as a consequence the sheath does not quite fit the axe. This was 100% my fault, and I'm convinced by the quality of the product that Beaver Tooth makes and sells great stuff. Next time I'll ensure that I measure first, instead of assuming that all axes are created equally.

Happy with the quality. I bought this for my very old double bit which is an odd size. The flap does not close over the top, misses by an inch however it does the job.
