I had the privilege of going thru a very old/dilapidated, blacksmith barn and scavenged a hatchet head, camp axe head, a single bit head, and a double bit head. They took a lot of work to re-profile but very satisfying. I'm so proud to put a proper handle in these historical tools so they can be use for generations to come. Thank you.

Beaver Tooth handles are just what the company says they are, extremely nice handles made with American hickory. I love mine and will continue to buy handles from Beaver Tooth. Grains are oriented and the strength is definitely there. I recommend these handles to anyone wanting to hang their favorite axes.
This handle perfectly complemented my hatchet and was well worth the wait. It fit with very little shaping and included the wedges needed to install it. Even opting for the higher grade hickory wasn't prohibitively expensive. I will absolutely be doing business with Beaver Tooth in the future.

They were very easy to work with. I recieved my handle quickly. I was very happy and now its resting comfortably in my antique restored axe. I could not have found this quality and type of handle origional to the piece (1920s) anywhere else. Thank you very much for what you do!

I found an ancient Revonoc axe head, measured the opening and purchased the handle. Its fit was fantastic and with limited skills and a YouTube video, it was readily and excellently installed.
The local axe throwing venue was selling off axe heads with broken handles. This is one handle that I found with a large enough profile to use. It worked very well. The butt is a little large for my taste, but its better to have too much than too little. Overall a good purchase with none of the nasty laquer that you find on hardware store handles.
Couldn't find a local handle to fit an old Sandvik head. The dimensions online were accurate and the quality of the wood is top notch. Will definitely come here for future handle projects.
Found an old hatchet head but couldn't find a handle to fit. Order from beaver-tooth and item arrive as advertised. Had to perform just a little finishing sanding for final fit. Very satisfied with the handle.
I have hung many ax and hatchets. By far this was the best handle I have ever used. The fit was nearly perfect and the wedge made the handle very tight. A great product, will more when I have another ax or hatchet to handle.

Recently began restoring old axe and hatchetts. Local stores lacked the quality I was looking for. Did some searching on the web and came up with this company. Delivery was a bit slow as they were having some personal issues. Upon receiving the product, I examined the handles and found them to be of superb quality.The finish of the handles is excellant as well. They come with a hardwood and steel wedge. A few coats of boiled linseed oil and they look great. Hopefully future purchases will have the same quality.
