Great quality!

We have a lot of 3-4# stone hammers, Athas & Warwoods, usually taking a bucket (6-8) to every job, and though we wrap the 14-16" handle near the head to protect against mis-strikes, we commonly break some every year. Great Quality - Great Source!

Review, 16" sledge handle

I had to whittle the handle down to fit the eye of a 3# sledge head (tough going, tough wood!) and wish there was a 14" option but as for the quality of the handle, it is top-grade. A cross-hatch pattern scored into the "grip" would be a nice addition as the finish gets slippery when wet.
