It has character, it is straight enough to use and feel safe with.

The 60" is perfect.
The 55" is much larger in diameter at the top, about 2" dia. (6" in circumference) . Someone that needs the shorter 55" will probably have smaller hands and would need a smaller diameter grip area. However it is very sturdy and could be used as a suitable club if needed.

All of these beaver tooth hickory sticks are very good. They are finished nice and are very smooth. The price is more than fair and I enjoy each one.
