Our shipping is a reflection of the cost we pay to ship to you. We are not a mega store that gives a phony since that shipping everything is free and done over night.
Review, 16" sledge handle

I had to whittle the handle down to fit the eye of a 3# sledge head (tough going, tough wood!) and wish there was a 14" option but as for the quality of the handle, it is top-grade. A cross-hatch pattern scored into the "grip" would be a nice addition as the finish gets slippery when wet.

We do offer this handle in a 14'
Great stuff

Every wood product I have purchased from here is top notch great quality stuff. Anytime you need a handle these are the guys to go to. Can't beat it made in the U.S.A.!

Exactly what I needed Blacksmith mallet handle

This was perfect for what I needed. The handle was in very good shape with the exception of the varnish that comes on it. I prefer to treat the handle myself with boiled linseed oil and end up removing the varnish. Other then that I will continue to buy from Beaver-Tooth again. The back ground for this review page makes it hard to see the star rating option I would recommend something else in the background for this page.
