Great fit for my hatchet. Like with all handles you have to fit the head to the handle,you live in a fairytale land if you think it’s going to slap together without work. I love the length, I actually wish you guys offered this handle in 24inch.. hint hint.
The good: handle came straight Lol

Great looking handle, and feels good in the hand
The bad: laquer on the handle, not a deal breaker. Sanded it off burned handle and hit with watco(BBR) lol
Only other bad is the wait for handle took a month, but I understand you guys are a small business.
All in all a great handle don’t hesitate if you got an old carpenter hatchet laying around.
I bought two of these handles and they are very simple but functional. All beaver tooth handles are great quality.
Great fit on my vintage plumb 1.5 pound hatchet head.
I put this handle on my Vaughan riggers hatchet, and although it took a fair amount of rasp work it felt great on the hatchet once it was fitted. The laquer was thick as with any handle you buy, and took some effort to remove completely. But gave a real nice feel with some hand rubbed oil finish. These are still the best handles I can find for someone who is not a millionaire. I don't buy anything besides beaver tooth.
They work great, very good selection, handles are hard to find any were else.

I hung a “better” grade 18 inch Riggers handle on a vintage 24 ounce craftsman half hatchet. Very little fitting with a four in hand file to have the head seated properly. Made for a very easy hang. I’m very impressed by the quality of this handle!

The handle fits my needs fantastic, great quality. Some minor sanding to get it to fit just right otherwise very nice grain. I would buy again.

These are the easiest to fit handles ive used. It took me very little work and effort to get them to fit the heads i was using them for. Cant recommend these enough.

This handle was perfect. Very minimal fitting and it looks great and feels even better.
Just the right fit for my vintage Plumb hatchet. Very nice grade and finish. Comfortable grip shape and angle. I am surprised and pleased to have found just the thing I needed. And service was quick!

This is a good handle. Glad I opted to get a select. Wood is uniformed and grain alignment is correct. Beaver-tooth knows what they are doing making handles

The is the best handle at a great price. I will never buy a handle from anywhere except here at Beaver-Tooth Handle Co. I've seen handles a little cheaper but no where near the quality you get here.
All of my handles had great grain direction! From slightly vertical to very vertical so i couldn’t ask for more.

I was pleased to receive this straight grained beauty. Unfortunately the eye of my hatchet was way too small so this handle will go on the shelf until I find a worthy head that will complement it.
