36" Adze Handle Carpenter, Ship, Rail Road.

I bought a seconds quality adze handle to use for an eyelet hoe that I got free from a yard sale and cleaned it of old cement and rust. I had to cut down the diameter of the adze handle to make it fit the eye. The handle had a bow in it near the business end. By the time I ground it down and fitted it to the hoe, the bow was less noticeable. If you want a straight handle, I don't recommend the seconds quality. Shipping was slow.

I had a very old adze with a broken handle, and decided to put it to use. The handle fits well, and has good weight. I have used the tool, and the handle is holding up well. Would purchase again.

My adze was unmarked. Handmade? Adzes not all the same size. The handle was made to accept different dimensions. A touch here and there with belt sander. Fit snug. Cut off about 1 1 1/2 “ protrusion.

The fit was perfect. Went right on with No adjusting very satisfied.

This is the best fitting handle I have ever bought. I just slid it on to check the fit and it fit tight top and bottom. I was a little long so I trimed of the extra. No carving or sanding needed. Thank You for the great Product.

This handle fitted up easily to my Keen Kutter carpenter's adze, just a bit of rasp work here and there till it was just right.

I anticipated that some trimming would be needed to make it fit an old adze head I had. A little work with a drawknife and a spoke shave - and it is a perfect fit. Fair price, high quality hickory handle. Ready to do a little hewing! Certainly better than making one from scratch!

Perfect! Just what I was looking for. Loved that it was unfinished as I wanted to oil the handle. Now I've got to build a ship!

I have a ADZE tool and the handle broke. I went to every store where I live and could not find the right handle for an ADZE tool. I found the BEAVER TOOTH HANDLE COMPANY on line, and they had the right size handle. I ordered a handle and got it in less than 5 days. It was a great looking hickory handle and strong durable wood. Wonderful strong hickory with a well made set of curves and head. I have two old adze’s used for hewing wood for timber framing. One fits the handle very well. The other I’ll need to reduce the head size a bit for a perfect fit. Should be easy given the quality of the wood. Very well made.

This is a very well-made Handel and I know it's going to last for a lot of years. Was glad to see you didn't put some kind of slick finish on it that I would have to strip off so I can oil it. It will take very little work to get it to fit. The reason for the title is I wasn't sure I going to find a handle for the adze. It came off my grandpa's farm and was a hole digger, root chopper, rock remover. I have a lot of work to do to it, but it will cut wood again. Thank you for being here and I will order from you again. I will recommend you to anyone that needs a handle.

Handle was well made and free of defects . Fit like a glove ! I will be doing more business with them . I was very pleased to find a outlet for old tool handles that I like to restore. Prices where a pleasant surprise and reasonable.

I wasn't sure what type of adze handle to order, being this was my first. I watched a couple videos of people using one, then measured from the average log I'd be working with to my arm swing. Has been a perfect fit. I took a draw knife and fitted the handle to adze (no wedge). I can now 'bump' adze off the handle, so I can put a shorter handle on for a different job. Handle appears to be quality wood, smooth and tough hickory.

Good quality! The shape of the adze head make it more difficult to fit or shape the handle.
